About this site & Tim Wappat

So you want to know more about me?

Programming all started with Pascal that led to Dephi then on to being a .NET developer. I've been working with .NET since its first release. On a daily basis I work on a diverse set of projects, involving many of the areas of .NET, spread between Winforms / WPF / ASP.NET / XSLT / XML / embedded .NET Microframework / Team Foundation Server / WCF and more, see my Linked In profile for more info.

I have also worked with the Mirosoft Dynamics GP ERP system since around year 2000, developing and integrating using various techniques, including eConnect and Visual Studio Tools.

This site is mostly blogging on .NET and Mircosoft Dynamics products.

Another passion is for Microsoft SQL server and writing TSQL, including advanced complex Reporting Services reports, SQL Administration, Query Tuning, Replication etc.

As a STEM ambassador I put my Degree in Electronic Engineering to work, participating in the UK MakerFaire movement, see https://www.tumblr.com/blog/paperbitschallenge where there are many projects/creations, using computer punch cards and a micro controllers to teach people binary via a guessing games, among many other fun dips into learning.
